AKW-Hydrocyclone-Technology - a major contribution in gypsum preparation in wet flue gas desulphurisation

Gypsum derived from the FGD process as a residue can be used as an economical material if it
meets with the customer's quality requirements. FGD-gypsum has to be separated and dewatered
for the further production.

AKW-Hydrocyclone plants increase the availability of FGD plants
through extensive process engineering know-how

Single-stage
units for the recovery or pre-thickening of the gypsum suspension before belt filters or centrifuges.

Two-stage
units, i.e. with an additional second cyclone unit to process, for example, overflows from the first stage
for clarification and production of process water or integrated into an additional absorber circuit.

Complete
with anti-blocking filters - to prevent hydrocyclone blockage from impurities like foreign bodies or
deposits from gypsum suspensions.
