Hydrocyclones for Desliming

Used to eliminate the finest fraction which often causes difficulties in subsequent process stages.
The use of desliming cyclones is expedient before filtration, centrifuging, screen dewatering, classify-
ing, flotation processes, spiral and magnetic separating. Final products such as fine sands are also often deslimed.

• Ores and minerals of all sorts (iron ore, silica sand, raw phosphate)

• Regeneration of abrasives, moulding and core sands

• Recovery of seed crystals (aluminium hydroxide).
