Hydrocyclones for Closed Circuit Grinding

Reduction of mill load by combining mill with hydrocyclones.

Open circuit:
The hydrocyclone deslimes the feed before being fed to the mill, e.g. < 63 µm.

Closed circuit:
Degritting of mill discharge and re-circulation to the mill feed. Herewith preventing "dead" grinding,
resulting in a smaller grain size spectrum and shortening the duration of milling (optimum use
of the mill).

Double circuit:
The hydrocyclone deslimes the feed and simultaneously reduces the oversize of the product after
previous blending.
