Attritioning CellsType AKA-TRITAttrition machines play an important role in wetmechanical processing techniques. Under the influence of high shear and friction forces created by special agitators, surface contamination is removed and agglomerates are disintegrated, due to the high solid content and intense friction between the particles. FunctionThe slurry is fed into the first chamber and discharged from the last chamber. The agitators guarantee safe transportation of the highly concentrated slurry through the chambers. The design of each chamber and the arrangement of the agitators rule out dead zones and short circuiting. This also ensures that the slurry is transferred through each agitator zone. Design features:Tank with vertical agitator and Vee belt drive. Changeable, wear-resistant covering of tank and agitator (rubber or highly wear-resistant steel plates resp. polyrethane coating). 2, 4 or 6-cell construction. Chamber volume: 0.5 to 3 m³. Driving power: 11 to 37 kW per cell. Solid content: between 800 - 1.200 g/l for ores, minerals and contaminated soil, between 200 - 300 g/l for ground plastics. Material: steel, steel-covered with rubber or wear-resistant steel plates, steel- coated with polyurethane, stainless steel. | | |
