Upstream Classifiers

Our hydrosizers, type TAK, ensure products which are separated precisely by cut sizes, like silica sands for glass manufacture, core sands and moulding sands for foundries, and special sands which are required for the most divers applications.

The various models ensure cut sizes in the range from 0.1 to 1.0 mm, depending on the various feed quantities.

An optimum distribution of the upstream water via a nozzle plate results in a homogeneous classifyin bed, which enables a precise separation. By varyin the water feed and exchangeable nozzles, sharp separation cut sizes are possible. A discharge regulation which is controlled via the level of the classifying bed ensures a uniform cut size even in the case of fluctuations of the feed quantities, and of the grain size distribution.
