AKW A+V has installed and commissioned a new plant for the treatment of road sweepings in Pietramurata which is located in Northern Italy close to Lake Garda. The plant has a capacity of 6 t/h and is working based on the proven technology of classifying and sorting the input material. By this technology reusable sand and gravel is produced out of waste material. The additional benefit is the saving of disposal costs for the raw material which is classified as hazardous waste.

After a installation time of 3 month and commissioning and training of the customers staff the plant was taken over in Mai 2009 by the customer.
